David H. Root, Sr., our club president, is from Massachusetts.  While in the
United States Air Force serving as an air traffic controller, he & his fellow
servicemen started investing in rental houses.  He caught the real estate
investing bug.  Their investments paid off well & he's never forgotten it.

David hosted a real estate radio show called REAL ESTATE for the UPSTATE
every Saturday morning from 11 a.m. till noon on Spartanburg 1400 AM radio.
